Dreamers Dreaming

July 15, 2010

I recently had a dream I want to share with you:

A person that I knew was the Holy Spirit got up and said, “I want to make some closing
remarks, I’d like to ‘remark’…”
It was a play on words.
I understood it was to ‘remark’ one of the areas we are really called to.
And He began to talk about going out, go the streets, sharing encounters with Jesus.
And the Holy Spirit said, “I want you to re-mark this, re-establish this. Go after this again, fresh.”

I am so excited about the ways the Holy Spirit is speaking to us! And one way that seems to be really prevalent right now is through dreams.

The testimonies about people having dreams-hearing encouraging, directive, and prophetic words from God- has been so exciting!

And so, I really want to highlight some Biblical understanding of the many ways God used dreams to speak people, as well as share some of the testimonies of all the ways God is speaking to us here and now.

Acts 18:8

God spoke to Paul in dream, “don’t be afraid, I’m with you and no one will be able to hurt you.”

Reaffirming, encouraging, because it can be scary sometimes, trying to do what you feel the Lord calling you to, but taking some hits along the way.

Not everyone encourages what you’re doing, not everyone supports. Can be a bit of confusion in the spirit.

But in this passage, God responds to Peter’s need and says, “I’m here to encourage you, keep it up. Don’t let anyone intimidate you.”

And in my dream, the Holy Sprit gave me the same kind of encouragement. He went on in the dream to say, “you have no idea how many people in this city I have on My side.”

All over the earth, the Holy Spirit is speaking to people through dreams. And we speak over you, activation! To be able to hear what He is saying!

Acts 2:17

Spirit poured out on all people! Not exclusive to the church. People are having dreams, becoming puzzled because they’re hearing from God but the don’t understand. They need help to interpret. They need encounters with people to help reveal to them what God has already been saying to them!

We are a supernatural church. God is a supernatural God.
God was to use us supernaturally to interpret dreams!

Dan 2:1
The king was having dreams!
The unbelieving king!!

But he was disturbed by them, didn’t understand. To the point of loosing sleep!

But Daniel was summoned. And he brought an interpretation, he brought understanding, supernaturally by the Holy Spirit. And the king encountered God.

Acts 9:11
We want to represent Jesus to people! And we want to empower people, believers and unbelievers, to HEAR HIS VOICE!!

Joseph.

Gen. 40:8
Joseph was an interpreter of dreams, and he was constantly relying on the Holy Spirit.

He once told Pharaoh, “God will set your heart at ease. “

And that’s what we’re called to do, what we’re setting out to do. Setting hearts at ease with God.

Acts 12:7

Sometimes we have dreams, so gripping and real. It’s like real life and you don’t know if you’re dreaming! They are real encounters.

Peter had a real encounter and he thought it was a dream! Because he’s had such real dreams!

God is really awakening us in the area of dreams! He is pouring out dreams!

………………. ……………….

Here are some recent dreams that leaders in our Body have had:

Kristen:
I was driving in a car.
In my back seat was a giant tv set. Like one you’d see in Times Square, in New York.
The screen was blue. And across it in huge letters was the word “MIRACLES.”
TV screen means: receiving… Receiving miracles

Another dream:
Was laying in a bed and my toes had been sawn off. They were missing, my feet were deformed.
Then when I looked backed again, they began to grow out, supernaturally.
And when I woke up, I instantly heard the words, “Its time for creative miracles.”

We are receiving, but we need to give it away!! What’s the point of receiving if it’s not given away?

Encountering the world around us, and giving away what we’re reviving from God.

………………. ……………….
James:

At an EG meeting. Then two distinct miracles happened. Creative miracles. A deformed limb grew out. And then another.

Then after the miracle broke out, the faith levels went through the roof. People began to really believe in God again. Faith of Body dramatically increased.

Then glory of the Lord went through the room. It was so powerful! Swirls of the Shekinah Glory went through the room.
Kristen was on the stage with a mic (representing the prophetic spirit) with a whole pack of photocopies. She grabbed people saying, “Hand these out.”

On the front it says “Recipes for miracles and the glory.”

Three diagrams.

One diagram was:
Giving time apart from home, and in the house.
Meaning: giving up personal time, getting out of the “house,” the church, getting out of our comfort zones.

Second
Street meetings.
Whatever that looks like. Getting on the streets. Again, getting out of “church” building.

Third:
Evangelism
……………………………..

Let’s take it up a notch! Let not settle. Not get too comfortable. Let’s stretch ourselves. There’s more!

God is speaking to people, encouraging people, pursuing people… And they don’t even know it!
People are encountering God, and all they need is someone to point it out to them!

God is on the move in the hearts of men! And in YOUR heart!
