Taking Ownership of Revival

We are the bride of Christ.
I want to honour the bride of Christ today.
There’s been an unnecessary shame on the bride, and it shouldn’t be.
You’re beautiful. You’re His glorious ones.

I’m stoked for Canada. Our nation.

We hear so much about overseas and ‘the nations.’
And sometimes we think were just living our ‘normal’ lives.

No, were called to greatness. To do it here.
We are called to re-present Him to the world. Our world. Right here!

Authentic life. Jesus as the only normal Christian in the bible.

I want to live like Jesus lived.
People were so attracted to Jesus.
They couldn’t stay away! Jesus and His disciples had to get tricky, just to get some time to eat and pray! “Okay, you guys cross the lake in this boat. I’m going to go up on the mountain and meet you around on the other side…” Ha!
I want to be that attractive to the world around me!

I love our nation. Our region!
I love where we live.
And I want to live where I live!
Not just live here… Really LIVE here!!

I’m sick of just living where I live.
I want to LIVE where I live!

And we just want to see Heaven come.
That’s His heartbeat.
That’s why He came.

Ownership.
We need a greater awareness of what Heaven looks like. And when Heaven isn’t present, we know it. And it’s like “watch out. Because I’m an ambassador of Heaven. And this is mine. I own this.”

Ownership.
Renewed confidence.
Confidence comes when you know who you are.
The devil plays tricky games sometimes. To deceive us, tell us were something were not.

We need to do whatever it takes. Whatever it takes! To get into a right mindset.

Innocence of heart.
Believe the things we used to believe.

Missionary spirit.
Expectation.

You feel the most alive when you’re the most dead.

But the world wants to lull us to sleep. Singing us it’s lullaby…

Mundane.
Complacent.
Idle.
Passive.

But we have to say “shut up! Quit singing me that song!”
I hate that song! I hate it!
Because I’ve heard it before.
And I hate that feeling.

I love it when I feel fully alive.
When I feel the fire burning in my bones.

Because He’s fire.
The man of fire and He’s in me.

We’ve been given fullness! Fullness of what?
Fullness of HIM! Christ in us, the hope of glory.

Our enemy has been totally and utterly defeated!! Stripped of all status, all weapons.
All that’s left is for us to own what’s already ours. To believe who it is God has made us. And to WAKE UP! Bringing Heaven to earth until everyone around us is awake!

It’s time for the lullaby to be silenced, and for passion to be re-awakened in our bones!
